In 2431, Ronald Heydrich was the Executive Officer of the USS CENTURY, and the de facto commanding officer of both that ship and the Neo-Essentialist fleet that was sent to Elandipole to destroy the USS PHOENIX. Revealed as a Neo-Essentialist, he was relieved of his duties by Admiral Marxx, the man he sought to dupe, and is now languishing in the penal stockade on Jaros II.

Ronald Heydrich is a committed Neo-Essentialist. He believes that Starfleet should control the government of the Federation and wants civilian authority over the military quashed. He also harbours a dislike of non-Humans, considering his own species to be the driving force of the Federation.

On stardate [2.0]1612, Ronald Heydrich was found guilty of treason and crimes against humanity, and was sentenced to life imprisonment at the Jaros II stockade, where he remains to this day.
