RAWYVIN SETH (2398-2430)

RAWYVIN SETH (2398-2430) was a deadly assassin-for-hire who operated as a Neo-Essentialist agent from 2429-2430.

Highly intelligent but rebellious by nature, Rawyvin's conflicts with his father led the young man to join Starfleet, progressing through the Academy and achieving an officer's commission. He rose to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade, serving as Security Chief aboard the USS Avalon. While there, he established an experimental SEAL unit, but the project was soured amidst reports of heavy-handed tactics in action and abuses of power. As Starfleet began their investigation with a view to criminal charges, Rawyvin Seth disappeared.

For the next several years, Rawyvin Seth worked as a contract killer, honing his deadly skills and racking up a large bodycount. Warrants were issued for his arrest by every government in the quadrant, but it was not until Richard Edgerton came to power on Earth that Rawyvin Seth found a new employer.

Assigned to track down and kill the Vulcan telepath Selyara, Rawyvin arrived at the Triangle space station known as Limbo at around the same time as the renegade USS Phoenix, whose crew were on the same mission. Rawyvin stalked and murdered Solomon Arn, the Phoenix's science officer, before confronting Captain Kane and the cloned intelligence operative known as Drake while Selyara was being evacuated to the Phoenix.

In a deadly personal combat between the three men, Drake was killed, and Rawyvin Seth fell three miles down to his death after being pitched into the black chasm of the Atria, Limbo's central exhaust, bringing a final end to his criminal career.
