Personality & Traits
General Overview | Gavirosh was an abandoned child living in the "Down below" area of the Valla Royale station outside of Federation territory. When the crew of the PATRIOT were exploring that station, Gavirosh used his bioelectrical abilities in order to sneak on board their shuttle. They smuggled the boy back to their ship and Zuri kept him. Having spent what he could remember of his entire life indoors on a less-than-savory space station, the boy had never been outdoors. He'd never felt grass between his toes or seen a sky. Gavi endured abuse and neglect prior to his rescue. He was malnourished and diseased when first discovered. Living on the filthy space station had exposed him to a number of poisonous compounds. It took a lot of love and attention to help him become the healthy young boy he is today. He was devastated by the loss of his little brother Jason and remains fiercely protective of Daisy's young daughter, Erika Wangel Byrne. Gavirosh and LJ Lawrence got off to a rocky start when Daisy first brought the older boy into their lives. Gradually - they've grown to respect each other. When on the GATEWAY STATION-2, prior to Daisy’s marriage, Gavi got a job in Xana Bonviva’s restaurant (The Angel’s Angst) and discovered both a love of working in restaurants and a use for his natural electrical abilities. Medical note: Gavirosh has frequent electrical accidents because he's an Onaran in the middle of puberty. Overtime he’s better controlled his electrical outbursts, but they still happen when he becomes emotional, so he still wears thin black gloves at all times except when cooking certain dishes. Unusual marks: Has the symbol of Xana Bonviva’s Bolian house (one heart on top of another) tattooed on his arm. |
