Physical Description		Average height for a Tellarite, only slightly overweight. Has very deep-sunken eyes that are slightly crossed. His skin is pale for a Tellarite, being a light shade of pink. He has a deep, gruff voice, but has a kind, enthusiastic temperament. Admiral Dvorak used to suffer from recurrent corneal abrasions due to a lifetime of squinting at computer screens and machines with small moving parts. He underwent surgery 16 years ago to regenerate his corneas, and occasionally needs to use eye drops when he's had a long day.

General Overview		Admiral Dvorak has risen to the top of the Starfleet Corps of Engineers because he loves what he does and never stops learning more about it. He is enthusiastic, driven to improve, and innovative. He is friendly, while still retaining the mark of professionalism that marks him out as a senior officer in Starfleet. While most people find Tellarites somewhat abrasive, this is not the case with Admiral Dvorak, whose boundless enthusiasm for engineering in all its forms overcomes any racial pre-judgements. He is aware that he shares a family name with a famous Human composer of music, and usually jumps in with that fact before a new Human acquaintance can remind him.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Admiral Dvorak is possessed of a keen, analytical mind. When presented with a new proposal, he is quick to see both the benefits and the potential pitfalls. His enthusiasm for new projects invariably means that he is often disappointed when they fall through or turn out differently than he anticipated. Also, he is not overly ruthless or political, a trait which may lead to Starfleet Engineering losing resources or new talent to other departments in the fleet.
Ambitions		Admiral Dvorak has satisfied most of his life's ambitions, and aside from dreaming impossible dreams about inventing a perpetual motion machine, is quite satisfied with his work.
Hobbies & Interests		Admiral Dvorak loves taking apart pieces of old machinery and rebuilding them with the minimum parts necessary for them to work. He views this hobby as an intellectual challenge. He is also generally interested in the civilian mining and drilling industries.

Personal History		Born in 2363 on Tellar Prime, Khush Dvorak showed an interest in engineering from a young age. It was thought that he might follow his father's footsteps into mining, but Khush decided to devote his life to Starfleet. He spent 14 years rising through the ranks before becoming a department head. He and his team were credited with saving the USS Daystrom from a degenerative fault in the ship's antimatter containment pods on stardate 1.98904. He was on Starbase 6 during the Seventh War, and saw no action. After a stint in the Academy as an instructor, Dvorak moved into management, joining Starfleet Engineering 14 years ago. He led both the R&D and Ship Construction departments during the neo-Essentialist crisis, being passed over for promotion in favour of a Human candidate. Following the defeat of the Neo-Essentialists in 2431, Khush Dvorak was finally raised to the Admiralty and became Chief of Starfleet Engineering.
